If Music Be the Food: DSU Recital to Benefit Food Pantry
North Dakota Ag Connection - 02/23/2018

The fifth in an ongoing series of recitals benefiting the AMEN food pantry, this spring's "If Music Be the Food" performance will take place Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson (146 Sixth Ave. W).

This month's recital is formed around the theme "A Warmth in Winter's Chill" and will include music about warmth and cold, in weather and in heart, featuring the Prairie Rose Chorus, directed by Robyn Nadvornik, as well as community members and DSU music students and faculty.

This event is open to the public and free to attend. Those who are able are encouraged to bring donations of nonperishable foods and/or cash donations for the AMEN food pantry. The program will include a wide variety of music, from Elvis Presley to Gilbert and Sullivan operetta excerpts to Bach.
